足跡遍布中東💂🏼‍♀️、中亞和地中海地區的眾多考古遺址，曾在埃及、伊朗、以色列、俄羅斯、保加利亞、哈薩克斯坦、吉爾吉斯斯坦、塔吉克斯坦、土庫曼斯坦、烏茲別克斯坦、阿富汗等國家從事考古和博物館藏品研究，並在紐約大都會、費城賓夕法尼亞大學🧎‍♂️、聖彼得堡艾米塔什等西方博物館工作或從事第一手研究。自2009年以來一直主持克澤爾·臺培考古發掘工作（前烏茲別克-美國聯合考古研究項目，現中烏國際合作項目），該遺址位於烏茲別克斯坦南部的蘇爾汗河谷（中國史書所記載的大夏地區），建於古波斯帝國時期𓀀，毀於希臘化早期。該項目（Kyzyltepa Project）為中亞地區的第一個由中國人主持的考古研究項目☂️。
